- Video Collection and Distribution Networks for all major Canadian Television Broadcasters (i.e. CBC, CTV, CanWest Global, and CHUM)
- Design of world’s first MPEG 2 4:2:2 profile @ Main level broadcast network from the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan for a major Canadian Broadcast Company.
- Video Collection Networks including network surveillance and facility management systems for Star Choice’s Direct to Home Satellite offering.
- Design, implementation and monitoring of Bell ExpressVu’s Video Backhaul Network for their Direct To Home (DTH) satellite service. This new award winning state-of-the-art Mpeg2 video network collects Canadian TV stations signals from a variety of national locations and U.S. points of presents from Boston and Seattle; providing remote switching and alarm switching for the Divicom Mpeg2 compression system, conversion from ASI to DS3; and routing to to the Bell ExpressVu headquarters in Toronto for uplinking to the various satellites (2).
- Designed, engineered and managed a substantial number of major TV and Radio media events over the years involving voice, data and video/program requirements. Highlight events included:
